This Ceim House in the Black Valley is the absolute best! The hostess/owner, Agnes, could not do more to make every second of our stay quite memorable. "The setting was beautiful. Just outside the national park. The check-in procedure was fine but we had no idea where to go. There are no signs for “The Reserve.” The apartment was pleasant but it needed a good deep cleaning. There was all kinds of stuff on the floor, long hairs in the shower floors and pube hairs on the wall of the shower. The lack of air conditioning was fine. We opened the windows and it was cool. "Lovely quiet little spot out of the way in a very picturesque area, road in is one laned but if you're driving in Ireland, you should be getting used to it by the time you're down in the south. "

"The hotel was clean and charming with very accommodating staff and really good food. The room was spacious and we had everything we need. A working window is sometimes helpful when you get too warm. This hotel is in a great location for walking to many sites and transportation to and from is easy. "

"My husband and I are on a road trip in Ireland and stayed at this hotel. We arrived a little earlier than expected and were able to check in about a hour and a half early as our room was ready which was wonderful. The room was very clean and they tidied it up daily. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! The hotel is about a 10-15 minute walk to the town of Killarney. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant one evening and it was very good. They had a refillable water station at the entry of the hotel which was perfect. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re planning a stay in Killarney! "
