Farmstay in County Kerry

"Although this home is about 15 minutes from the town of Killarney, the Irish farm experience is what we were looking for- & this home delivered. The house was clean & large enough for our party of 7 adults. My only recommendation to the owner would be to replace or add bed pillows & to include more towels (at least 1 bath towel per person). An outside table & chairs would have enhanced the experience. The patio overlooking the farm was really nice, but there was nothing to sit on out there....

You will not find a better location to access the Gap of Dunloe, Killarney National Park, or Ring of Kerry. Such stunning scenery and secluded location with lots of hiking available right out of the front door. If you’re looking for an authentic Irish home stay, this is the place for you!"

"We had a fantastic time at Winchmore Hill House. We had 2 families and the house was the perfect size for our large group - not too small and not too big. The large group would usually congregate in the kitchen/dining area which worked great especailly w/ the easy access to the patio. We visited many towns on our daily tours but were glad that we picked Kenmare as our base as again it was the perfect Goldilocks fit small and quaint but still plenty of restaurants and shops to choose from."
