"It was a Victorian hotel so don’t expect ultra modern but I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The staff, particularly the gentleman in reception was just so helpful all the time. The hotel was preparing for Christmas so had a lovely atmosphere. There was entertainment and an enormous dining area and all overlooking the sea."

"I only went for a city room. This is a windowless room, but as I was only sleeping in it for the night, that's fine with me. Great value for money, and the hotel has many facilities. Decorated for Christmas. Bar was shut when we arrived back at 11pm. Position on the front is perfect for the pier and bandstand and only a short walk into town centre"

"Room was basic but functional. We were up on the 7th floor overlooking the main road and noise wasn’t really an issue. The pod bathroom was a little strange but perfectly functional.
