"A great place to stay in Central Oxford for a weekend, plus we needed to drop off luggage early and the contact was very helpful. Note that the hotel is unstaffed for large parts of the time, also being central it was quite noisy at night, but very cosy and clean. "

"Quirky, slightly chaotic DIY guest house converted from an Edwardian pub. Once we got used to the self-service breakfast in the communal dining room, we found it a really comfortable stay. "The property was somewhat quirky, but in the ideal location to stay over while visiting the area for motocross. The owners were friendly and welcoming on arrival and at breakfast. "This is a lovely thoughtfully styled hotel. The staff are all genuinely friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Decent water pressure in the shower. Generous supply of tea/coffee in room. Variety of tasty options on the dinner menu. The Full English Breakfast is a must have. Good central location for sightseeing. Would highly recommend and definitely would return. "

"My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We got the third level room and it was nice and served its purpose. My only complaint with the room was that the bathroom absolutely reeked of mold. Other than that, the location was great, very walkable, and we enjoyed our stay (other than the terrible mold smell). "

"It was more comfortable than I taught. For the price of each night, it exceeded it. A walking distance to the train station. It’s clean, easy to locate. Direction on how to access the building was clear. The room was sizeable, although it a shred bath and toilet, they were clean. I will recommend if you are staying a night or two."

"First of all, this property overlooks gorgeous meadows, and in the morning you’ll wake up to birdsong and golden hour (there are blackout curtains though, should you need them). I saw so many varieties of birds, I almost bought a birding guide just for my stay. My favorite were the magpies.
