"I loved the fresh made pancakes for breakfast and coffee available all day and night. The beds were comfortable. I was disappointed when I went to check in, my room wasn’t ready, which was 2 1/2 hours later past 3:00 pm check in time. There was an issue with the door locks not working. I had to wait about an hour at 10:30 pm for them to fix the door. Things happen sometimes. Overall, though, I would definitely stay at The Inn again. "

"My sister, brother-in-law and I stayed at the Shell House for Thanksgiving this year but also to have a small memorial for my mom who passed away in August. It was the perfect place to be together and remember her and celebrate her favorite place be, the MS Gulf Coast, where she grew up. The place has everything and even though the setting is perfect, and the decor is just beautiful, it has a feeling of "home" and that is what we miss the most about our mama. "Our stay was everything we hoped it would be. My husband and U are originally from Long Beach. We moved to Southaven after Katrina destroyed my husband’s dental practice. We were married in the ruins of St. Thomas Church on June 3, 2006. It was my husband’s wish for his Celebration of Life service to be held there as well. I stayed there along with our oldest child and his family. It was a wonderful place for us to be all together. Thank you!!!"

"This is truly a beautiful location. I’ve been to a lot of beaches on the Gulf, but never the Mississippi coast. The Live Oaks, the beautiful beaches uncluttered by hotels, restaurants, and condos, the peaceful, calm vibe. This is the one perfect place to RELAX! Also, I guess because it’s so close to N’Orleans, there are lots of good restaurants with GREAT food!"

"This is a clean, comfortable property that is conveniently located near the beach, a grocery store, an ice cream shop, downtown, top rated restaurants and shops, and convenience stores/fast food. It's all there, literally 2-3 blocks away! Be sure and hit up Camphouse Burger Bar and stop for dessert at Serendipity Creamery by the park on the way back. :-) This host was happy to accommodate our dog, who loves to join us on vacation when he can. Communication was on point and we had no trouble...
