"Had to make very quick arrangements for a family funeral. Elsa and Peter communicated extremely fast and catered to our needs, for which we were eternally grateful. The property itself is gorgeous and very well kept with all of the amenities we needed. The kitchen is superbly laid out and easy to use. The bedrooms are plenty big enough and very comfortable. Thank you so much from all of my family for making our stay so easy."

"This is such a lovely spot. It is perfect for traveling the west coast of Ireland. We wandered up and down the coast and came home every day to gorgeous surroundings and beautiful sunsets that we watched from the upper garden. We loved the beautiful old thatched roofed main house and the convenience of two full kitchens. The house is nestled among sheep and cow pastures across from the remains of an old tower. I wish I could include photos in my review! It couldn’t have been more picturesque....

BROWNSTOWN LODGE - Fishing Lodge & Country House with lake view and secluded location

Perfect Family Getaway

"We had the most wonderful stay at Brownstown Lodge. We were a family of 7 adults and this was our first trip to Ireland. We wanted a home base to make day trips from and Brownstown Lodge was absolutely perfect for us! the house is lovely, the property so peaceful, the view perfection. The house lends itself to privacy if you want it and togetherness when you want that. We would absolutely stay here again. Thomas was so helpful with information prior to our arrival. The house was spotless, the beds perfectly comfortable. We were able to enjoy a family meals together and conversation around the fireplace. I can't recommend this home enough. It was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you so much, Thomas, for making our first visit to Ireland so wonderful. We will be back."
