"Good location for the Moon & Stars festival. Nicely decorated and very clean. No reception so you get an online check-in form the day before but I didn't so I had to ask for it - that was slightly intense. When checking out, you're supposed to pay city tax at the restaurant at the ground floor. In my case, the staff were so busy and I waited for at least 20 minutes to get it sorted. That was the only down side staying at this hotel. "

"Very convenient to downtown Locarno. Staff very helpful! Breakfast excellent! Parking was tough! Very tight access and spaces. Laundry turned out to be one washer and one dryer in the basement. We had chosen the hotel specifically to be able to catch up on laundry. We thought there was a washer/dryer in each unit. It worked out ok, but we were lucky, as this turns out to be a tour hotel with many large groups. We will stay again, just understand the constraints better. "

"The hotel is perched on top of Ascona and isn’t in the old town but is about 10 mins walk down to the centre. There is limited hotel parking to call ahead to reserve it or else pay about 20 CHF per day at an offsite location which was a nuisance. This hotel has the ability to be nice provided it is EXTENSIVELY renovated. It is very dated but not in a charming way, it looks very tired. The bathrooms (& florescent lightning!) are old an cramped. The carpet in the room was also very old (hotels...

"Beautifully located - staff was incredibly Friendly, we had a wonderful dinner overlooking the lake and mountains with live music and great food. The rooms were clean and had a great balcony with a view of the lake. "

"Nettes kleines Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Die Zimmer sind sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet, aber doch schon etwas in di Jaher gekommen. Im Bad sind Halterungen lose, und die Tür zum Balkon ist völlig unpraktisch, das sie nach aussen öffnet und somit nur de Hälfte des Balkons nutzbar ist, bei offener Tür.
