"The Shepherds Nest is the best Shepherds Hut we’ve stayed in, for space, amenities and for hospitality. It’s well built, furnished to a high standard and there’s a lot of thought gone into everything. Charlie and Carol were really welcoming and there were lots of little touches, and nice surprises on our arrival. The outside bath is great, in all weathers! We’d highly recommend."

We had a slight issue on our last day where the hut ran out of gas but Mandy was kind to sort this. We would definitely recommend. "

"We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. "Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay soooo much! We are a bunch of six ladies (childhood friends) having a long over due catchup weekend! All we wanted was a hot tub so we booked this little getaway. They were so accommodating, a welcome bottle of procesco waiting for us, chocolates, hot chocolate, tea and coffee as well as having a box of thing in the cabin in case you forgot them, like paracetamol and new toothbrushes, shampoo, conditioner which we thought was just a lovely touch!
