"Petunia House was exactly as described and perfect for a couple’s getaway. When we arrived we found a small issue with the hottub. I messaged the host through the app and they came and fixed the issue within less than 15 minutes. Just a block removed from all the main road attractions, we walked everywhere. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay there again in a heartbeat. Would consider rentint out the whole Briar Patch for something like a family reunion!"

"The cottage lived up to the billing, the whole place is as cute as can be. We loved the period decor, the cottage was extremely clean, beds comfortable, and stocked with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen (even the toaster is cute). The location was great too, just a few minutes from downtown and close enough to the highway to access the wineries and distilleries outside of town. The fenced backyard, complete with yard games was also a big plus. The owners went above and beyond ...

"Overall this house and location were great! However, an outdoor fire pit was one of the big attractions for us, but much our surprise there was no firewood. When I asked the property manager about where to find the wood he said there probably wasn’t any because they hadn’t been there in a while and we should have brought our own! If wood is not going to be provided, they should let the guests know in advance so they can plan accordingly. I was told there was an HEB close by if we wanted to go...

"The views from our cabin were wonderful and perfect for a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The cabin was clean and comfortably furnished, better than the pictures. It is a bit of a drive to Fredericksburg and local attractions, but to us it was worth it. The proprietor is a lovely person. We would definitely stay again! "
