"Extremely spacious and well equipped with one exception, given the unusually warm weather—no AC, some fans, and no screens on windows that do open. The garden has a knockout location right on the river and some rooms also have this gorgeous view, including the huge bathroom with freestanding tub. There are however a lot of stairs. "From the moment I arrived the staff were friendly and helpful. Location is set back from a country road so it was quiet and close to hills and mountains for walking. A few minutes drive from the main town of Llangollen it was convenient and peaceful. The chef was very helpful and able to meet my needs with small changes to the menus with ease. Room was basic but adequate and clean. Exactly what was needed for a short break. "

Room window has broken pain of glass that has been broken a while due to the dirt on windows. "Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
