"Had a fantastic stay at the wild pheasant. Staff are lovely. Room was for 3 but only set up for 2, the staff couldnt be any quicker having the room amended for the 3 of us. Afternoon tea was gorgeous , spa immaculate and not overcrowded. Enjoyed a shoulder and back massage to finish the trip. It was perfect. Also very close to the centre nice 15 minute walk along the river"

The instructions were excellent and the owners were incredibly responsive and helpful. "Our stay was fabulous. The food is 12/10 We had our dog with us so we had to eat in the bar but it has a roaring fire and a lovely atmosphere and I’d argue this was the best seat in the house. Our room was in a little outbuilding and it was just perfect. Super quiet of a night too. The servers are all very young and the best and most smiley service I’ve had in a long time "
