"Parking is not available at the location. You need to go to the community hall and pay 8 pounds. The rooms are super clean/functional. The beds are deliciously comfortable. This place is awesome. I just wish they would provide hand soap, shower gel ( which was empty and is a common complaint on many reviews). Its the simple cheap things that can make you feel like a valued customer. Overall fantastoc stay if you enjoy pub noise til midnight 😉"

"We had a wonderful stay at the shepards hut. The heating and lights had been put on reasy for our arrival as we were later than the check in time . Carol the owner had messaged me earlier in the day with directions which was a nice welcome. She had also given us a lovely recommendation for somewhere to eat that evening. "I was travelling my motorbike and they very kindly let me park in an enclosed yard at the back. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Both the public areas and the room were clean and modern.
