"Visited for a family funeral recently and the staff were so kind, polite and helpful. Greeted with a smile at every occasion and a warm Cooke on check in. "Lovely hotel for a short stay, the staff are all friendly and helpful, the room was spacious enough for a travel cot and had a large dressing area and lovely views of the garden. The breakfast and lunch was good, fresh ingredients and well seasoned. My only note would be that the travel cot provided had no mattress (just the thin hard one that comes with a travel cot), as they left a large blanket and sheet I wrapped the sheet around the blanket to make a mattress and it worked very well,...

"Spot on hotel only problem is the heating turns off on auto regardless of temperature outside. Woke up freezing on a couple of occasand in the end asked for portable heater to plug in."
