Check in was easy and straightforward, the room was of exceptionally high standard with attention to detail and everything thought of for the customer. Plenty of choice for evening meal which was again of high standard and the staff were knowledgeable, courteous and very friendly. Good choice for breakfast, again of very good quality and reasonably priced. Location was absolutely perfect, complete with a mini zoo. Owners should be proud of what they have achieved. Would definitely recommend, and will be visiting again, several times "

"We had a lovely 3 night stay at the hotel and eat there twice with 6 other friends. The service was excellent, from the booking process to the bar service and the waiting on in the restaurant. We had a room at the rear of the hotel which was lovely and quiet. The room was large and clean and we had no complaints. The food was superb on both nights and I would highly recommend the Chicken curry. The breakfasts were also excellent. It is worth noting the steps from the car park to the hotel but it is very easy to park at the front to drop of luggage and then go and park your vehicle in a nice secure car park. In all we had a lovely stay and would definitely use the hotel again."

"Was aprehensive as very cheap,but was pleasantly surprised. Great accommodation, very clean. The staff were so lovely especially the guy in the bar who couldnt do enough for us. Then the ladies on reception were so helpful when we left some items behind. Cannot recommend the hotel enough. Will definitely stay here next time we are visiting the area "

"Nice hotel, right next to a lovely lake which you can walk around. Good breakfast, good evening menu and nice bar. Just a shame that the swimming pool was no longer open (permanently closed). "
