"Me and my partner stayed here after hiking Snowdon. The rooms are just perfect! So clean and very nice. Nice bar/restaurant area although it is quite expensive and the staff in the restaurant were a little slow. Good was great though. Everyone was friendly. We also used the spa which was so worth it. Definitely will be back, so happy with our stay."

"Hotel is lovely, receptionist could have been more friendly when we first arrived. A smile goes a long way. A toilet brush in the bathroom would have been nice. Lovely breakfast. "

"Jo Stephen are warm and welcoming, very friendly and attentive. The hotel is perfect for us, warm clean and cosy, a wonderful location, with the most magnificent views of the bay. The sunrise from bed this morning was incredible 💖 many thanks to Jo Stephen for looking after us during our stay, lots of tips on local knowledge. Carparking very convenient too. Lovely stay"

"We enjoyed our 1 night stay at Tyn-y-Coed - the location is excellent for walking from the doorstep and the parking is great. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and had good storage. The addition of a drying line in the bathroom is a super idea. We loved the styling of decor in reception and the bar/restaurant and enjoyed the Snowdon Lager on draught. We look forward to visiting again. "

"Group booking of 3 rooms. All parties were more than happy with the room standard and the bar. Breakfast was a buffet style "full Welsh" and did the job. The breakfast staff were very helpful and attentive as was reception upon arrival. The only point to note is the hotel car park is small and can only accommodate 5 average cars, this meant we all had to park on the street surrounding the hotel. It was free to park on the street, so not the end of the world but just something to consider."

"Had a great stay at this property. Very clean and had a pleasant stay. Staff very friendly food lovely and breakfast was very good and plentiful. I come here every year for a family event and get together and will be booking to come here again next year."

"This hotel is fantastic!! Built in 1522. It has three pubs and a great restaurant. It is located in the center of the old city. The staff at the hotel and people in Caernarfon were super friendly. We attended a wedding in Snowdonia, and this hotel was our base of operations for three days. We probably won't ever have an opportunity to return, but I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough!! Try the Welch Pie at the restaurant!!"

"We had a fabulous week here in September, much helped by superb weather. Its impossible to review the cottage without mentioning the wonderful view across the river towards Cader Idris through the huge living room window. Our dog spent a lot of time gazing out of it at the sheep. The accommodation feels very spacious, you have all you need and bed was extremely comfortable. The garden is lovely on a sunny day, and Sally the host was very approachable and helpful. Also, the pizza place 300m away...

"A fantastic relaxing retreat for anyone that likes a bit of peace and quiet. A real escape from daily life. Beautiful surroundings in woodland with fantastic hosts, making it a perfect retreat. Will definitely be going back sometime soon. "
