"We chose here (in January) because it was pet friendly and had a hot tub. We had everything we needed for our stay. 4 bedrooms, 2 baths, patio, grill, great view out to the back. For those with kids, most of the basement is a game room. Our dogs loved the property and the coziness of the house.We bet warmer weather is even better for groups and gatherings.Very nice host that communicated quickly with us."

"The place was overall clean with attention to homey details. Heating unit was loud but kept warm. Only issue was lots of BIG flies in house….spent first night with a flyswatter killed about 30 flies"

Host was friendly, & communcation was prompt.They are located across the st. & the pond in the listing is actually on their home property, but we'd recommend this place regardless. Just book it!"

"The hosts are very responsive and did a beautiful job with this cabin. You can see the craftsmanship that went into building it, very clean and cozy. The pier on the pond with kayaks and a fire pit overlooking this gorgeous property are all nice touches. The only minor thing for me, I’m 6 feet and over 220 so the bed and shower were a little tight for someone my size. But I made it work. "

"My wife and I stayed at this location for our anniversary weekend getaway and it was amazing. Gary and Dawn do a great job with their properties as we have previously stayed at the Fox in the Hen house, which is great as well. The Green green grass of home was amazing. Very private. Very warm and cozy. Staying in the wintertime the road is seasonal as listed which was not an issue as we have a 4 wheel drive SUV but plan accordingly if you do not. "It was as described. We enjoyed the gas stove, birds, and took a daily hike. The host was quick to converse via text, and very considerate with nice touches like fresh flowers. The view and the vibe were excellent.It was a little challenging with regard to food because many of the restaurants aren’t open M-Thurs during the winter. I brought easy, quick things and also had a few items pre-made. It worked out perfectly."
