"Like the other reviewer said, it's really a tale of two halves: the pre-arrival communication was lacking but the property itself was super. After making the reservation I got an email and text asking me to complete a Move In form. I had a question about the form, emailed the contact and got an immediate answer back. So far so good, but then I emailed the form back to the contact and nothing. The next day I got another email and text asking for the form so I tried again and still nothing....

"The unit was beautiful with windows and two bedrooms. The place was very clean and comfortable and we enjoyed the deck. It was perfect for meeting our needs three girlfriends traveling together. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace deck as well. I’m glad I chose this location."

"Place was clean, but that is about it. amenites advertized were not accessible, thye double charges us: charges us for the stay as well as what we paid, then accused of stealing a table, leaving "poop" behind, (which we did not do either charges us $400.00 additional cleaning) charges us for a key that was returned, and we were there for less than 4 days..."

"The studio was nice and worked well for me overall. It was clean and functional. It is walkable to downtown Palo Alto but far and really too far to reasonably walk to Stanford. It would be best to stay here if you have a car or are willing to Uber a lot. The other minor complaint is that there were no coffee pods for the coffee machine, and it is a type of machine that you cannot buy pods for easily in a store. "Was in town for a very short work trip. Long days and short nights. It was nice to have those nights be in a very quiet, comfortable place. Check in was very easy, all info was sent to me prior with perfect instructions. Apartment was clean and cozy. Would 100% stay again on my next trip out!"

"Our VRBO was clean and welcoming. It was a perfect little home away from home. Our host, Dee, left us a welcoming note and was quick to answer whatever questions we had! Would definitely recommend this property as one to book if you are staying in the area!!"

"We stayed at the home with our two kids for a family wedding at the Mountain Terrace, and it was ideal for our purposes. Walkable to Alice's for an easy breakfast or lunch with the kids, and walkable to the wedding venue for a worry free experience. The location of the property was a great midway point for arrival via San Francisco, easy access to Half Moon Bay, and equally convenient to Palo Alto for wedding events and dining. The roads are an experience, but doable, and we enjoyed our trip."
