"This loft is better than advertised. So comfy and decorated to the nines! The Artist Loft is centrally located in downtown Black Mountain. You walk right out of the front door and you are in middle of coffee/martini bars, restaurants and eclectic shops. The beds are super cozy and the little coffee table by the window is a great spot to watch sunrises and people watch. "

I left before the sun was up and returned after it went down so I can't give much info on the area. The cabin was just what I needed, a place to sleep and shower and I love the dog! "

I was unaware when I booked, but there was a music festival the same weekend, and the only negative to the place is lack of a dedicated parking spot."

"We had a wonderful stay in downtown Black Mountain in this spacious one-bedroom. Very clean and minimalist design. As others have said, you can do and see a lot without the use of your car. It does get loud at nite but we did have our windows open because of the warm weather."

"We love this magical cabin. It is decorated in mushrooms and woodland whimsy inside and out. It was well-equipped for a comfortable stay. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the house is also geared towards a comfortable stay for your dog, so next time, I plan to bring ours. I will definitely be back."

"We had a great stay. Kelley was communicative about the details and responded to questions in a timely manner. Location was convenient to downtown Black Mountain. The only issue is the lack of cell phone service, which not a fault of the property, just stating so others are aware. You have to use WiFi calling.
