"We loved our time at The Kyah, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The dining experience was delightful and the rooms were clean, spacious and appealing. The bed was so comfortable which gave us restful nights sleep during our 6 day conference nearby in Katoomba. We enjoyed the other amenities but especially the hot tub and sauna. Thankful for a very pleasant stay. "

"We stayed here with 3 adults and 2 children and the apartment was perfect. It was very spacious with big kitchen/living room and big bathroom. Perfect location being right on the main street, yet still quiet because Lithgow is such a quiet little country town. We made a few trips into Wollemi national park, it was only half hours drive to the Glow worm tunnel and a couple of canyons. We also had some lovely meals at the Tin Shed cafe and the Blue Fox pub. Only thing I would recomend is that there be some basic kitchen foods such as a bottle of cooking oil and some salt and pepper. "

"Great/grand restored old (1880) hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Many of the businesses around are run down, but the scenery is wonderful! Get tickets for the hop on hop off bus at the hotel desk. The bus guide is great, with many recommended activities at most of the stops. "
