"What can I say, this house and surrounds was a beautiful place to reunite with old friends from around the country and enjoy the magic of the blue mountains. The lounge area was the perfect spot to catch up with a cheese plate and wine overlooking the stormy skies. The property manger gave a great summary of things to do and places to go after booking which really helped us plan our stay. Best: Comfy beds, fire place, views were everything! Worst: Upstairs shower water pressure was weak....

"This is a great place to stay as a family of 4, within walking distance of Leura station, and easy access to Katoomba. The host was generous and hospitable, although we didn't really need help during the stay because everything had been clearly communicated and was well set up. Would book again! "

"Warm welcome with chocolate & wine! Moonya is a vintage cottage with period furniture just as described, equipped with everything you might need. Lovely little yard for watching birds! Despite its age, good heat and hot water. Good location in a quiet area. If you have allergies, you might struggle due to aged furnishings."

"The house had all the things we needed, the location was nice and had a nice surround that is very relaxing The house is highly suitable for a 3 year old child with a playground and accessories, variety of interesting books, and a collection of interesting toys. My granddaughter absolutely adored the house and we will definitely stay there again. "

"What a gorgeous secluded cottage, which was very warm and toasty during a chilly weekend. Has everything you might need to self cater in the kitchen, toasty warm, and the heated floor in bathroom is divine! Tea, coffee, S&P, oil and some spices are welcomed, along with very clean linen supplied. Trains/highway barely noticeable in winter. We could happily stay there week, along with our pooch who was very happy with the safe and fully enclosed yard, and doggie paraphernalia for his stay."
