"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"Unser Aufenthalt in dem schönen Häuschen war sehr erholsam, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen dort. Lage ist super, Ausblick ist toll und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Allerdings ist es ein bisschen hellhörig, was unseren Sohn sehr gestört hat, der gerne lange schläft. Aber alle andern kamen damit klar. Super wär’s, wenn noch ein paar Haken für Handtücher und Klamotten angebracht werden, aber sonst war alles top ! Wir würden das Häuschen auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!"

"This apartment turned out to be ideal for me. The tram line was a 10-minute walk, and a LeClerc supermarket about a 6-minute walk. It isn't very close to any of the area attractions, but that means it was very quiet and peaceful, especially out in the beautiful garden! Everything is accessible by bus or tram, however. The place itself is clean and bright, and the open floor plan makes it convenient for hosting. The a/c was amazing during the hot days of summer! The owner provides a notebook...

"We really enjoyed our time in Bordeaux - such a beautiful city with lovely buildings and streets. We will certainly return. The accommodation was just right for us, thank you. Also, thank you to Tristain who met us on arrival and explained all to us. Facilities in the accommodation are good with excellent bed rooms and family dining area. The only issue for us was the shower in the lower bathroom: with first use we noticed it flooded out onto the floor - so had to use only a small flow of water...

"We had a very enjoyable holiday in this excellent house. The location is very convenient for both the beaches and Bordeaux, and great for cycling or walking in forests and along the coast. The house is beautifully finished, private, and comforable, with all the required equipment and amenities to a high standard. Hosts Francis and Catherine were very welcoming and helpful, even providing delicious home-grown tomatoes and free-range eggs. Hope to visit again some day!"

"The property exceeded expectations. The owners were very welcoming and organised an interpreter to ensure any questions we may have had were answered. Although they live onsite they are extremely discrete and you'd barely know anyone else lived on the property. The pool was fabulous, warm and a big hit with all. "This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
