"Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"Unser Aufenthalt in dem schönen Häuschen war sehr erholsam, es hat uns sehr gut gefallen dort. Lage ist super, Ausblick ist toll und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Allerdings ist es ein bisschen hellhörig, was unseren Sohn sehr gestört hat, der gerne lange schläft. Aber alle andern kamen damit klar. Super wär’s, wenn noch ein paar Haken für Handtücher und Klamotten angebracht werden, aber sonst war alles top ! Wir würden das Häuschen auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen!"

"We really enjoyed our time in Bordeaux - such a beautiful city with lovely buildings and streets. We will certainly return. The accommodation was just right for us, thank you. Also, thank you to Tristain who met us on arrival and explained all to us. Facilities in the accommodation are good with excellent bed rooms and family dining area. The only issue for us was the shower in the lower bathroom: with first use we noticed it flooded out onto the floor - so had to use only a small flow of water...

"La Cabane is only 300 metres from the lake edge - so walkable in 5 minutes - and there is a handy Spar store at the end of the road where you can get your fresh croissants and/or chocolatines for breakfast. The property was very well presented, and Nathalie was very welcoming. It is compact as described (the clue is in the name, after all), but has everything you could require, including spacious outdoor decking where you can always find sun or, if it's too hot, shade - this is where we took all...
