"Visiting family before new year. Lovely single room with small en-suite but perfect for me. Everything I needed was available but in the kitchen, required more utensils for cooking. I got takeaway and used what I could, no problem with bowls/plates and kitchen appliances. Great spacious clean kitchen. Lovely place to stay, recommend. "

"Really enjoyed our stay thank you. Pleasant welcome from the staff and good facilities. Lovely clean guest house and room. In a great location for the town too. Minor downside is lack of parking (but there are side streets and car parks nearby - it just took us a little while to find one late on a Friday evening). "We booked the Victorian room for Saturday night stay at short notice just a short time before we arrived. We was immediately sent a welcoming text message with details of where to park and when our earliest check in would be The Host, Iain greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. "Lovely family run B&B, the veggie breakfasts are nice, the rooms are comfortable, we loved the electric fire as it was a cold few days. Great location in the centre of the village next to shops and we had some meals from the chippy just down the road. Free parking on-site. "

"Property bore no resemblance to the picture on the website. Outside area full of weeds. Paint peeling off building and stairs. Window blinds filthy and mouldy. Washbasin tiny. No soap or toiletries. No bedside table or bedside light. No chair. No hangers in cupboard which had a door hanging off its hinges. Kettle useless and wouldn’t boil. No breakfast offered. Door only closed by a Yale lock so insecure "

"Room was very clean and comfortable. Large TV screen, good hot drink facilities plus small fridge. The water was very hot. Only issue was that the water in the shower was too hot to stand under and we couldn't turn it down. Good value for money, would stay again."

"Hotel situated in a quite part of the town, yet not far from sea front and shops. Our room on ground floor was very good, clean warm , breakfast very very good, loads to choose from full breakfast piping hot. Can not find any fault with the hotel."

"We were pleasantly surprised by our room. It was a family room which is probably why it was so spacious, and more importantly clean. My only moan would be breakfast is served between 8am - 9am. I personally think 8-10am would be more appealing but you can’t please everyone all the time. "
