"There was just enough parking, with both the hotel and restaurant busy on our first night, but the main thing is, we did get parked. Check in was in the restaurant, and the hotel is secured by 3 keycard doors to your room. The room was really nice, and the beds very comfortable. The room was very clean, including the bathroom… except whilst it was only 2 pubic hairs on the bath, they were definitely not ours, and when your grandson questions what they are, it’s awkward, along with not being the nicest to encounter. Still, it could have been worse… there could have been a body attached! The breakfast definitely has to be one of the best value for money around, and given that we stayed in the Hilton another night on our journey, the quality of produce was just as good, if not better."

"Just back from an enjoyable 6 nights stay at The Lincoln Hotel. Room was perfect for our needs. Very good room service, lovely fresh towels if needed. Excellent breakfast. Ideally situated for Cathedral, Castle and other places of interest. Plenty of eating options."

"Lovely hotel lovely grounds and surroundings. Beautiful building, very polite and professional staff who couldn't do enough for you. Excellent food, dinner and breakfast . Leisure centre is brilliant with well equipped gymn and lovely swimming pool with fantastic health suite. We had a suite room and it was furnished lovely, very spacious and very peaceful. There was not one bad point or area I could suggest an improvement with this hotel. It's fantastic."

"Room was a bit small but not the fault of the hotel owners. Staff were very polite and very helpful. Well worth a stay but no meals at night for half of the week but plenty of places too eat out in the town. A bit over priced. "

"the hotel was lovely the only thing that let it down was the view there wasn't any you looked out on to a brick wall also the mountains of bird Poo outside the window was disgusting so you could not open it spoke to them at reception and they said its the look of the Draw which was terrible it is a health Hazard such a shame as a nice Hotel and the Staff were amazing especially the young Dark haired girl from Yorkshire she was a joy also a good roof top Bar "
