"The staff are incredibly friendly. The location is wonderful (VERY safe) and I could talk all day about how good the breakfast was. The rooms were private and each had its own bathroom, which is unusual for a B&B. We stayed in the Azalea room. It was small (probably 10x10) but quaint. My biggest complaints were we had no control over the temperature in the room other than a fan supplied in the room and there was a light right outside of the room that was super bright. "Maureen and John are hands down the best hosts we’ve stayed with. They were communicative, helpful, and just lovely people. The cottage is clean, charming, and well situated in Pensacola. We walked a lot while we were there, enjoying the neighborhood and nearby entertainment and restaurants. We came for the Blue Angels homecoming air show at NAS Pensacola, and Maureen and John gave us loads of helpful hints that improved our overall experience. We’ll be back :)"

"The carriage house apartment was charming and very comfortable. The property is centrally located to all downtown Pensacola. It is safe and provided easy and pleasant walking to local restaurants and attractions. The lodging is very clean and includes all services for a pleasant stay. Home away from home! Leslie and Hal were very responsive hosts and provided warm southern hospitality. We recommend their place for an excellent lodging experience. "

"This is such a beautiful hotel and is one of our favorites in the Gulf Shores area! The inside lobby is absolutely gorgeous with great seating areas. We especially love enjoying the ocean view with a coffee in hand from the deck next to the espresso stand. They made the outside bar area bigger and also have lots of great seating out there. The beach area is gorgeous and a short walk down to the pier. We’ve seen lots of dolphins playing in the surf. The food in the restaurant is good. When the weather is nice, they offer lots of outdoor seating options with great ocean views. They also have a really cute gift shop that carries nice adult clothing to beach bags and sun glasses. The only negative I have found about the hotel is that the beds are not comfortable, which is too bad given all of the fine attention to detail that was put into the rest of the property. "
