"Beautiful location, we had nice terrace to sit out on overlooking pool. Not sure all rooms as good. Rooms are in a partially restored village and quite basic but in character. Views of green hills and distant mountains great. We were surprised though that village is some 800 meters above reception and restaurant down steep road . "This place is an absolute delight. It’s a winery built in the middle of an old medieval castle next to a mountain stream and surrounded by vineyards. The wines are delicious. The pool is perfect for cooling off. The rooms are lovely- ours overlooked the neighbouring village which was a 15 minute walk along a riverside path and over an ancient pedestrian only bridge.
