Colin, the manager on duty, even upgraded me—for free—to a room of the same level. The whole process was seamless, and their hospitality really stood out. "Very comfortable, clean and welcoming. Bed and pillows were awesome. Slept like a rock. I've stayed in many of the higher priced B&Bs in the area and prefer this place by far. Décor is quaint and quirky. Shower was excellent....and we stayed in the lowest tier room. Staff was very patient, kind and helpful. Only stayed one night but will certainly be back for a longer stay. Oh, and the farm fresh eggs are a great deal too.... real hidden gem. I was pleasantly surprised. "

"I have read a lot of reviews on this property and I always try to steer clear of the bad reviews to let myself in on the experience so I can find out When you speak on “updating” and such, you must keep in mind the Nostalgia of this sport and what this mountain has down to maintain the East Coast Lodge vibe. My family of four , kids 10 and 16; had the BEST 4 days of Spring skiing and swimming outside in the heated pool. We had a studio only booked but decided to bring kids- they allowed an upgrade yes at my cost with no problem- From the 1 bedroom suite with a balcony and a whirlpool tub looking over the mountain, the D Lift, and pool, we couldn’t complain on the extra spent to give us space with our kids. From the Sauna, the ski check, the stream room, the workout room, to the hot tubs and pool, we loved every second and honestly didn’t wanna leave for our last leg of the trip…. Dinner at Van Winkles was so so good. Despite any negative reviews, I am leaving my extremely positive experience here for y’all to see. Book the trip! and Visit Woodstock. And the Candlestock store. Apres! "
