"The Lodge was lovely, Pauline the caretaker was very helpful and friendly, the only thing we would say is that it was like going through a maze to find it which proved a bit difficult initially but after a few tries we mastered it."

"A lovely little cottage in a beautiful setting. We only found out that there was no wifi once we had booked. This also meant that there was no Smart TV as advertised. The listing should state clearly that there is no WIFI. Also the information pack in the cottage gave no instructions regarding the rubbish bins. "By far the worst caravan pri we have ever stayed on it is definitely a OAP’s holiday site you get nothing but uncomfortable looks from other residents walking there dogs there is no facilities what so ever on site myself and my husband left with bad backs and necks due to the very hard cheap beds and pillows you could not pay us to ever visit this place again it was awful"

"Nice, clean and comfortable property. Every that you need is supplied. Mobile & WIFI can be a bit patchy due to rural location but not an issue for us. Local area was not good for dog walking due to the wet conditions over last few months and did not want to bring back a mucky dog. Nearby Lewes was a good town with choice of shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants. Nearby ‘Rainbow’ pub do an excellent Sunday carvery. "Good convenient location. Clean well appointed rooms. Staff welcoming and very helpful. Only issue is the room on the 2nd floor was unbearably warm and there was no way to manually control it. The staff provided a floor fan on our second night and moved us to an upper floor day 3 and 4. I would stay again but request a higher floor. "
