"Good for family (2 adults, 4 kids). Good location, 30 minute walk or 10-15 minute bus ride to the city centre. Clean apartment, some initial struggle with the front door key ‘technique’ but the video was helpful, could’ve done with a few more kitchen utensils / oven trays for self catering. Overall good, would stay again. "

"OMG....From the moment we walked through the front door it felt like our home away from home. The views are to die for and the peace and tranquility is unmatched. The hosts have seen that everthing you could need is already there. "Location excellent. And, photos accurately show current condition. The manager/owner and I have had a constructive dialogue which I hope will improve his property, specifically, buying new mattresses (as the current ones are soft and sinking), adding hangers to the wardrobe, adding hooks for damp towels to hang, and, fixing the leak from the bathroom that resulted in damp conditions in the larger of the two bedrooms. Manager/owner was responsive to my concerns and cooperative. "

"The property was well furnished and immaculate. The location was fabulous for all that St Andrews has to offer. Communication with Patricia the host was very good and we were even advised when the cottage was available to allow us to check in early. "The interior and the garden are very pleasant. The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. Those sleeping in the double room found the room too hot, and noisy with passing traffic. It was impossible to use Netflix. On...

"The property was as expected photos accurate. We had a very enjoyable stay visiting Crail after a 30 year gap. The beds were comfy plenty of hot water and cosy seating areas location was excellent . Lots of seating outside for those sunny days we managed coffee outside one morning . Lovely coastal walks."

You’re directly across from St Giles church and not many cars up here at hotel because street is made for walking around. Great beds and quality soap in showers. Bedding is great, blankets great and mattresses were the best we’ve had on our 3 country trip. Staff walked us to our rooms and carried our luggage.
