Short drives along tree lined vistas or up windy roads to the hills, put many interesting towns and some splendid wineries in easy distance; the towns of Carcassonne, Narbonne, Limoux and Perpignan to name a few, as is the Med for beach lovers, but the smaller villages around and about were delightful...

"We stayed one night. In 350 meters you can be in the medieval city. Travel 50 meters down the hill, turn on the path and you are there. Such a perfect location. Paul was great and easy to communicate with. We had a lovely dinner at the Sarl le Creneau and saw Remparts et Lumieres at night. We had a wonderful day exploring the village during the day.
