"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. "Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "

"We really enjoyed our time in Bordeaux - such a beautiful city with lovely buildings and streets. We will certainly return. The accommodation was just right for us, thank you. Also, thank you to Tristain who met us on arrival and explained all to us. Facilities in the accommodation are good with excellent bed rooms and family dining area. "We have just returned from our stay, and had a wonderful time. The property itself is a very good size - with 3 large bedrooms, a spacious living room with dining area, and a fully equiped kitchen. The outside space is perfect - with a large covered area with sofas and dining table and a large lawn with plenty of shade from trees. "This is such a wonderful place to stay. Stunning, spacious, quiet, relaxing and utterly beautiful. The swimming pool is excellent and was well used. Facilities were all super. Decor was really amazing. Béatrice and William our hosts were lovely. They live next door but were not intrusive just very helpful with our stay. Would definitely love to return. "

"This was our second visit to this hotel. Previously we came in a summer ,but this visit was on the last day of Bordeaux Xmas market. The hotel is situated on the tram line which you can buy tickets at the machine or on the app. To get into centre takes about ten mins. Across from hotel is the river which you can walk into Bordeaux with lots of restaurants and shops. A lot shut in the winter, but definitely worth a nice walk.
