"France was really helpful prior to and on arrival. Bed superbly comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and the lovely Buddha garden was perfect and dog safe. You do need to speak French to communicate easily. "

"We very much enjoyed our stay, taking time to visit Blaye, St Emilion and the city Bordeaux. Places we would happily visit again. We ate outside in the shade of the cherry tree each night. The well stocked DVD library meant our kids were never short of entertainment. The owner Herve gave very good advice on local amenities and places to eat. Sie haben uns alles im und um das Haus gezeigt und gaben uns viele tolle Tipps, die wir rund um Bordeaux unternehmen konnten. Das Haus ist wunderschön und sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. "Our cottage was located about 30 minutes north of Bordeaux in a very quiet community. The owners lived right on the property and if we needed anything we’re just a knock on the door away. The unit itself reminded us of our lake cottage with cozy but somewhat outdated furniture. But that suited us just fine. Our main purpose was to have a home base to visit wine chateaus and it was perfect for that. "
