"This property was centrally located so that everything in Amsterdam was a short walk away. The host David was so welcoming! The stairs getting to the rooms are no joke, but I knew that going in. Some reviewers have complained about them but Davids's property description is straightforward and indicates the property is not handicap accessible so do your homework and don't underestimate it. Our stay was wonderful, and we would absolutely book here again."

"Really enjoyed the property and our host Fokko was very attentive. Also Jasmine was so diligent and helpfull. Coffee was provided and had room service every day. Although we enjoyed our stay, take notice that there are a lot stairs (Play room was in the last floor). A plus was that our luggage was managed by Fokko an his staff during check in and out, but going up and down daily could be difficult! Thanks Fokko for being a grate host."

"Conveniently located within walking distance of the historic city centre. Second floor apartment within a traditional narrow canal-front townhouse. It is accessed up communal steep staircase from a main front door and is annexed to the main hotel next door. The apartment overlooks a very picturesque canal, which is the best feature together with the sizeable open plan living / dining / kitchen area. It has a comfortable double bedroom and a wet room. The kitchen area could use some minor repairs...

"The place was great. It was very convenient and we were able to walk to wherever we needed. The room was a good size and the bed was very comfortable. I would say that if you’re a light sleeper this may not be the spot for you. You can definitely hear the owners above the room when they’re walking and coming down the stairs in the morning, but if that doesn’t bother you (didn’t bother us) it’s a great place to stay! "
