"The manager Filip was very kind and knowledgeable! The dining experience was absolutely superb. If I could give more stars, I would. He had very excellent wine pairings and was very helpful when we had questions. Helped us with our bags up and down the stairs. He even valeted the German super car we rented! Michael also made our breakfast experience smooth and easy. The staff is so friendly and attentive to their guests. My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer!"

"We were greeted by the staff member who was very sweet and walked us through the lobby and restaurant, as well as the after hours entry just so we could find our way. In addition, it’s a very easy walk to the town center and very convenient. They also provided a treat for my dog which she loved. I would recommend this hotel and hope to return."

"Situated just outside the entrance to the old town, the hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are clean, and overall the location is very quiet. The breakfast buffet was yruly astounding and filled with many delicious options from cold cuts, cheeses, eggs, bacon, etc. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Gute Lage fussläufig zur Altstadt. Sehr schönes Frühstück. Das Bad ist renoviert und sehr schön, die sonstige Möblierung ist in ordentlichen Zustand aber sichtbar schon recht alt. Unheimlich freundliches Personal."

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! We were in town for the Christmas market and the location was perfect. It is close to the main town square but at the end of a street which was quiet yet convenient to get around. The room was comfortable and spacious with a big bathroom and walk in shower. The owners and staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful which made our visit even more memorable since we felt very welcome during our stay. The owner even offered to drive us to the train station when our taxi was late which was very thoughtful and kind! I would highly recommend this hotel."

"Fantastic old properly but with modern features. Some old hotels show signs of age but the owners of the Eisenhut have made sure that things are clean and new without spoiling the charm of a century’s old building . Brilliant location , very attentive staff. No cons at all with the hotel, but for info don’t follow set nav when Christmas markets are on , all surrounding roads around the hotel are blocked off . So it may be better asking for the car park location and parking first as this is outside of the no car zone and easily accessible. "

"We stayed at this hotel during the Christmas season. We were going to Nuremberg for the Christmas Markets, however we really wanted a hotel outside the centre. I think that we made the best decision when we opted for this hotel. It is right next to a park and once you arrive, it feels like there is nothing else except this hotel and the park around it. The Christmas decorations outside the hotel and in the reception area added to the touch of sparkle in this place. The lady at the reception welcomed us and helped us in our queries on our arrival. The room was both comfortable and clean. Breakfast offered a wide selection to your liking. I would also like to mention that there is enough parking space in front of the hotel. I only wish I could have stayed longer or at least I could be there once again in my lifetime. We are very satisfied that we have chosen this property for our short stay in this area and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone reading this review."
