"I was very impressed with the hotel, considering the low cost of rooms. Location wise it was not perfect with nothing much within walking distance, but by car it was equally between two destinations I was visiting. The breakfast buffet was a little lacking in variety considering the relatively high price, and hence I took this on only one of my two nights. "Was a decent size family room but the hallways echoed every door opening and closing as well as conversation. No coffee etc although there was a kettle in the room. No elevator to top rooms and not convenient to get to room. Friendly staff"

Crowne Plaza Utrecht - Central Station, an IHG Hotel

Comfortable and extremely convenient

"Sat right on top of the sparkling Hoog Catharijne shopping mall, right next to Utrecht Centraal station, the hotel is literally a bridge to Utrecht's historic and beautiful moated citadel. Bars, cafes, restaurants, monuments and boat tours are within a short walk, and the hotel itself is a cozy and friendly hideaway with firm, comfy beds and lovely bathrooms. The staff we met were great, but the hotel is very efficient and needed very little interaction with them for a pleasant stay."

Two Nights in Utrecht

"Very nice hotel that has a modern feel but still retains its traditional charm. My room was very comfortable - my only slight criticism is that there were no USB sockets, which is the norm in most hotels now. The breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. I would stay here again."

"Super convienient location in shopping centre adjacent train station with under cover access between. Also adjoins external shops and old town. We had a standard hotel room that was functional, clean and comfortable. "

"The hotel is very nice. The service was very friendly, and the room was spotless. Perhaps the only drawback is the bathroom, since it has an exhaust fan running continuously, it is very cold in winter. But other than that, everything was great. The area is very nice to walk around, there are good cafes in the surroundings, stores and lots of green areas. Also, very good connection by train and bus to other cities like Utrecht and Amsterdam. In addition, the hotel has its own restaurant and cinema which can be a good panorama for a rainy weekend. Highly recommended."
