"This was our first time in CO and it was such a great trip thanks to this cozy hotel! Definitely a small family owned establishment but the friendliness was amazing. There is a dog there named Hazel and she is just the sweetest. The owner and the front desk person was also extremely sweet. The rooms are all different and the room we got was small and cozy. We there for a snow trip so our stay was only to sleep. The breakfast in the morning was also really good! If we ever come back to CO we will...

"The host is so sweet and a great cook! Breakfast was so good and so much food, which was fantastic to fill up on before a day of skiing at Monarch Mountain. The lodge is extremely clean and is a great location, easy drive to ski or hike and just down the street a mile or so from restaurants and shopping. We will be returning anytime we go to the Buena Vista area for hiking or skiing!!! Highly recommend!"
