"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

"It’s a hidden gem. Don’t miss it. Jean Pierre and Marino are wonderful hosts and the property is fantastic. There is so much to see in Provence and the Luberon but I seldom wanted to leave the peace and beauty of the house, with its enchanting garden, pool, and L’Arc babbling just feet away. The apartment is spacious, equipped, and cozy. I will definitely be back. I miss it already."

To their credit, they did not hesitate and moved us to another room. The second room we were given was comfortable, adequately large, equipped with a kitchenette, had a window that could be open to let in fresh air, and had a large comfortable bed.
