"Our stay was for 2 nights. The room was nice & warm in 30 degree weather. The bed was comfortable and the room was great for what we needed. We opted in for breakfast and it was as delicious as last time. The parking was less expensive since last time we visited in March and parking rates vary. This time it was 28 Euro 14 Euro per day. The free shuttle is great to get us to the mountain. We will be back again in the future for a third trip!"

"There is no lift, the hotel checkin is one flight up a winding staircase. Our room was up another level with another winding staircase. The room was comfortable the decor is old world. The bathroom shower was in a tub that was not easy to climb into could be considered hazardous. It was nice to stay on the island and enjoy the peacefulness at night."

"What an unexpected treasure Château de La Ballue. I had booked this stay while touring the Normandy beach landings for just one night. What a shame we were only there for such a brief time. "Historic building made into a charming hotel. I stayed in one of the new, renovated rooms but most of the hotel is an old and cozy building. Staff are bilingual, rooms are clean, and it’s in a good location in town. I hope to stay there again one day!"

"We used Granville as our hub to explore the Normandy area in France. We rented a car and stayed at Hotel des Bains for five nights. The room was clean and comfortable. We had our adult son along so we book the "Superior Family Room side sea view" which was excellent. Our son had his own area with a privacy curtain. Our balcony looked over the sea. We had a great stay."

"Loved it. Stunning views. Excellent room with view of Mont St Michel. Bus stops very close but was also an easy walk. Family room was spacious with separate sleeping areas and two bathrooms. Currently undergoing renovations but no disturbance. Would stay here again for sure."

"When staying on the island, it is incredible walking around late at night or early in the morning where the shops are closed and the town is empty of people. The town is magical. Watching the tide roll in or out is impressive, as there is a 20km shoreline from high and low tides. "
