The great room/living room was large and very comfortable. We loved how secluded the cabin was. The views were by far the best part. The apple trees next to the deck were deer magnets. "We visit Mount Airy every year and usually have to stay 20 minutes away, but this year we were a literal block away from Mayberry Days by staying here. This is the perfect place for 2 to stay. Inside, the rooms were very clean and looked fairly new. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable, the bathroom was very clean, as well as the kitchen area. "We having been losing our beloved Onyx dog for a few weeks now to Stage 4 Lymphoma. His trip to the mountains would be his last. This Vrbo host has been *incredible*, from the moment we contacted them asking for recommendations they have been beyond kind, accommodating and so respectful. They had gifts and treats for him! Truly one of the best hosts I’ve ever come across in a decade of rental vacations. We will be back- without Onyx, but with his memories of this space."
