"We got bad directions thru google coming in at night and made 3 wrong turns before finding the entrance. Signage isnt lit or big enough. Beds are hard. Shower took 5 mins to get warm. However, dinner was excellent and the restaurant owner was utterly delightful and accomodating! "

"Bed wasnt bad, a little hard for my liking. Room was clean and I had a view of the wallace monument right out my window. Getting to the room is a chore as even though it is a newer and large hotel there are no elevators. Good tea selection. Served my needs. When I was leaving one of the workers saw me with all my bags, ran up and took my suitcase for me. That was much appreciated. Food from the restaurant is good. "

"Pretty hotel with great little bar. The bathroom had the longest bathtub! We loved that we could open the windows as it was quite warm in the room. The major downfall was the very noisy bed! "

"What a setting - absolutely stunning! Gardens are fantastic, hotel is very clean and tidy everywhere. Spa is excellent and breakfast was very good too. Staff all very helpful. Great 2 night stay"

"Great stay, beautiful surroundings. A lot of the main hotel looks a bit tired however with lots of scaffolding up we could see that there are refurbishments underway. Staff were excellent and the food was delicious!"
