"This was a charming stay. We loved the house and our room … very pretty and spacious enough with good natural light. Breakfast was very tasty and the owner was quite friendly. He shared many tips of things to see in the area during our short stay and following his tips helped give us a fondness for this town and area of Scotland. We hope to stay there again sometime soon. "Stayed for a couple of days with my husband, mum and dad and small dog. From very start the owners made us feel so welcome. Showed us to our rooms which were of very high standard. Very comfortable bed and good quality linen and pillows. We were unable to eat in the dining area as we had our dog. "Nice central place to stay. Staff nice and helpful. Only down side was the bottom surround of the shower had black mould the rest of the room was lovely n clean. As was only staying 1 night was able to miss using the shower. Would still recommend but advise to have this issue seen to."

"The owners were fabulous and so kind. This was my favorite stop on our trip. The breakfast was so delicious and came out so quickly. The property is beautiful and is so close to the Birks and the center of town you can walk everywhere. I will definitely return on my next trip to Aberfeldy. "

"We loved the Riverside room. Beautiful view of the river. The room was very clean and comfortable. We slept in so we didn’t get a chance to have the breakfast, but it looked like it was going to be amazing. The host are incredibly friendly and accommodating. They even gave us some extra cookies that Brian had made.! "

Fabulous Quirky Hotel !

"Fabulous gem in the centre of Pitlochry. We had the small double which was fine for the one night. My parents had the larger double & huge bed. Lovely Highland Soap toiletries in the toilets. The staff were really lovely and attentive. Fantastic breakfast the following morning. It would have been good to have the option of fresh fruit. "

Well earned break

"Warm welcome awaited us at Hotel combined with a personal walk around hotel and grounds by concierge service. Room was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Food at breakfast was delicious and served individually which meant it was hot. Dinner was fantastic with a varied and interesting menu. Service by staff in both restaurant and bar was great without being intrusive. But the star attraction at breakfast, dinner and drinks in the bar was the view."

One night isn't enough!

"Despite only being available for the first night of a weekend break, the lure of staying at the Atholl Palace Hotel couldn't be resisted. We arrived long before we could check in at 3.30pm, so time was spent using the luxury spa facilites and in the bar. We also had a good wander through the wee museum, which was fascinating! The staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The room was spacious and wonderfully decorated, and the bed extremely comfortable. The buffet breakfast was delicious, with so much choice available. Definitely one for a revisit in the future, for more than one though next time!"
