"We had a great time in this lovely Cottage. We loved to watch birds and squirrels on our balcony. We enjoyed playing with the owner´s dog Ralph and canoeing on the loch. Portnellan is a great starting Point to reach almost every destination in the Highlands. Our tip for families ist to do the GoApe treetop challenge in Aberfoyle. Enjoy your stay, we did it."

"The situation of the lodge is stunning, with rowan trees around the property. The weather wasn't good during our stay, but we didn't have to move from the sofa to get spectacular views out of the windows! There was a selection of books to read, which I made use of. The beds were very comfortable & the heating system was easy to use, except for the fact that the heating controls in the bathrooms were at floor level. "Lovely property for a family , with all home comforts. Great location as most towns are an hour drive away at most . We went in Feb so lots of snow, which the kids loved, however if you went in the summer there’s kayaking and fishing on the estate . Also a massive patio area with beautiful loch views"
