"Very disappointing stay. This photos show a pleasant hotel with sea views. What we had was a view of the sea with a very ugly old half built building obscuring the view. The receptionist was surly, abrupt and generally unpleasant. No welcoming smile, I felt like we were a burden. The room was full of mosquitos. The bed was a bit like sleeping on a blanket covered rock and only 2 pillows. Breakfast the first morning... my husband is a diabetic and is not able to eat any of the cakes and...

Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value"

"Very nice hotel for the price. Some nice restaurants nearby. Only issue we had was the number of stray cats around the hotel, who can be too friendly and don't give you any piece when lounging around the pools. It's not pleasant to be sunbathing when a cat jumps on you and sticks their claws into you!!"
