"We stayed here to watch Toto at the Hydro. The hotel was brilliant - really clean and comfortable. The rooms are large as well. Bathroom was spotless and they even supply flannels. The staff were very helpful and just generally lovely. Location wise it's a 2 min walk to the Hydro. The train station is a 5 mins walk and then it's a 3 min train journey to Glasgow city centre (£2.10 for a return). Would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"We loved this hotel. The location was brilliant, I’m really happy we didn’t stay in the city centre, there was lots to see and do on our doorstep here. Museums, gardens and walks. Restaurants, cafes and bars. We loved the live music in the Irish bar a 5 minute walk away. The hotel was better than expected, a lovely building from the front, the bathroom maybe a little dated but suited the hotel enough to get away with it for now. Only problem was the Friday night drunks coming out of the church bar at 4am opposite, I don’t think the windows were double glazed and they were noisy, however I don’t remember noticing and traffic noise. Overall a brilliant stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back! "
