"Nice Inn reached by narrow lanes. Care needed! Good good and drink. Breakfast from 0830 onwards was very tasty and of good quality. Would revisit. Too far to reach Exeter for an 0900 meeting... So if Woking book you meeting a bit later as it is worth the extra drive to this place "

"Our stay at this hotel was lovely. There were a few issues with our bath and window but the staff arranged for an alternative room to be made available for us. Both rooms were very well appointed. "This property was a proper little hideaway! The road in to it was a bit scary but well worth the trip! The property definitely had an air of bygone refinement to it. We had a very peaceful stay. The staff were very friendly and appeared gnuinely pleased to care for us.. It is a wonderful venue for business conferences, weddings etc."

"Check-in was at the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's limited on street parking but I was lucky enough to a space right outside. The food in the bar/restaurant looked superb and it was fairly busy when I got there, however I didn't try the food as I already had other plans for the evening. "The food ( dinner and breakfast) was beautifully cooked. The homely atmosphere was relaxing and friendly. The staff helpful and the room had everything you need and was clean and tidy. "A beautiful hotel set in lovely gardens on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Friendly, attentive and helpful staff. Very good standard of food. Excellent One of the best place I have stayed ever

"Staff members were so polite, helpful and friendly. Great check in, the Hotel is beautiful and extremely clean, warm and welcoming. Bar staff were very polite and if not serving were cleaning and keeping it ship shape, food was excellent very high standard and quality. Room was cosy and comfortable and spotless. Breakfast service was excellent and again food was high standard. For a business stay it was fantastic, highly recommend. I will definitely go back to the Park for longer stay as a holiday. Well done to you all at The Park"

"I used to travel a lot for business and I often thought what makes great customer service in a Hotel. I've had some stays where staff should clearly not be engaging with customers. Why am I saying this ? That is because of my amazing experience and the fantastic team at H.Inn Express in Exeter. They understand great customer service and provide it every day ! They are a credit to Holiday Inn Brilliant team Brilliant hotel Breakfast amazing 10/10 in every aspect - greeted with a smile and a pleasant warm welcome every day. Will be back ! Beautiful place to stay

"The room was fantastic. But could do with a few bits of maintenance. (Towel holders could do with being reattached. That sort of thing). Lovely old building, but the room was lovely and modern, with great features. Nice grounds and great views. Nice swimming pool. But the changing room was really cold. Pumping cold air in there wasn’t ideal. The only part that let it down was breakfast. We were greeted by a lady who looked like she didn’t want to be at work. She took us to a table set for 2. We were a party of 2 adults and a child. Then seemed put out that she had to do another setting. 2 of the party are gluten free and the woman was told this. The toast came out fine, but the breakfast came out with sausages containing gluten. We were asked how we would like our eggs. We asked for hard yolks or flipped. They came out runny. One of the younger girls came and took the breakfast away, removed the sausage but the eggs had only been “flipped” on the plate and not cooked any more. Eggs not cooked right isn’t too bad but to give someone something that that allergic too is poor. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy. The 2 younger staff members seemed much more helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again but would give breakfast a miss. "

"We had a lovely stay at this hotel and couldn’t have asked for more. We liked everything about it, the quaintness, the rooms, bar and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and polite and it was so convenient for the shopping centre. We highly recommend it and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again."
