"The cottage is located very near to the center of the village, which has everything you need for a long stay. The kitchen is well appointed but we did have problems with the overly sensitive smoke detector. Communication with Lisa was excellent. She responded immediately to any questions we had. The place is best suited for people who plan to spend most of their time outdoors walking and exploring, since it doesn’t have an outdoor patio or yard. "Pond cottage was ideallic, surrounded by beautiful countryside and gardens. The facilities were fantastic and the cottage well insulated. Ducks and geese were fun to watch and little squirrels hopping around the garden. "

"Stayed for the weekend. My daughter wanted our family to all be together for her 30th birthday and it was just perfect from start to finish. Heather, the owner, was so helpful and friendly- nothing was too much trouble. The lodge was fantastic, beautiful location and contained everything we needed. The hot tub was great fun and the wine, flowers and (very) fresh eggs left for us were a welcome and appreciated treat. "I wish I can stay more time. Is a peace of heaven on earth, and all the family members are kind , the house is clean , and have everything you need for sleep and stay, the only thing I missed is maybe a basics , like a little oil bottle, coffe, for example. But anyway are a lovely places around . We will come back for sure. "

"The Orchard property was absolutely beautiful and very well presented. We spent a delightful Christmas week there and the facilities were more than adequate for me to cook a full Christmas dinner. We arrived to find a Christmas tree, decorations and a lovely hamper. The Orchard is perfectly located for exploring the north Devon Coast. Sue and Tom (the owners) were lovely and most welcoming.
