Being just a short drive to the town made it easy to get provisions and the location worked out well for us to explore the Douro Valley and its many treasures. "This is an old house, with some interesting history & furnishings. It is not a hotel, it’s a B&B, with 3-4 bedrooms and the owners live upstairs. The ( ensuite) bathrooms are very dated.
