Area around the hotel doesn’t look very nice but only ever saw people walking their dogs or going into the market opposite the hotel so always felt safe. "

We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. "We chose Ca' Mia for our brief visit to the Lake Como area largely because it's location suited our anticipated day trip plans. Access to the Menaggio and Cadenabbia ferry stations was very convenient and allowed us to get back and forth across Lake Como both with and without our vehicle. We also enjoyed visiting Villa Carlotta which was very close to Ca' Mia. The rental property is tucked into a residential section on the side of the hills above Menaggio so there is no view of Lake Como from...

"This apartment was very, very nice and as advertised. It was amazing that each of us had our own room and our own bathroom. It's very hard to find apartments like this in Italy. The only drawback was that it wasn't centrally located near the train station, thus, cabs were necessary to get to and from. Also, the host who came to meet us did not speak English. Fortunately, I can speak enough Italian to get by, but this is something that you may wish to consider when renting this fabulous...

"Came all the way from the United States to Milan, and had this stay confirmed by VRBO. I arrive at the property, only to have a mean security guard yell at me and telling me "that my stay was not valid." I then called the host, only have her say that "this stay is no longer available." I was then stuck in Milan without a place to stay. What a nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!"

"My first time in a digitalised/hybrid aparthotel. Its neat and very nice but i wish curtain control and ac works. It was hot in my room and has to open the patio doors. It helped cool off the night but a bit noisy from the traffic, and mosquitos come in. Overall, ill stay here again as long they fix the thermostat and shutter control."
