"This was one of the cleanest short term rentals I’ve ever stayed in. Inside and out, the place was very clean. The owners provide several games and activities, including a game table and bumper pool, that the kids loved. It has a great view and backyard access to the Cullasaja River. It is located halfway between Franklin and Highlands, and is within just a few miles of multiple, easy-access waterfalls. "

"We love the Blue Bungalow. This was our second stay. It is well-equipped in all respects. Two full bathrooms set it apart from many similarly-sized options. The eat-in kitchen is great….we cooked, reheated leftovers, and sometimes used the table as a desk.Downtown is walkable although we mostly drove over this time. Winter is a less crowded time on the forest trails, which we love. It’s an easy drive to/from Pisgah or DuPont forests.We appreciate all that the hosts have done to make the bungalow...

"We stayed at Springdale the weekend after Christmas when visiting family. There was an issue with our room and we were upgraded for free which was a pleasant surprise. The grounds were clean and beautiful. Wendy at the Front was so helpful and very friendly, she really made our stay exceptional! We ate at the restaurant which was also good. Wonderful stay and nice perks in rooms!"

"There were 3 couples that all enjoyed the stay. Multiple times people commented how much they were happy with the house. The owners responded quickly to all questions and cared about our experience. I would recommend the house. "

"I would give this property 20 stars if I could. It is absolutely beautiful. The view is amazing and never gets old. The kitchen is well stocked. Everything was super clean. This was a very comfortable place to stay. The location was good for us. We did a lot of hiking so some days we had a longer drive than others. "We had the best weekend getaway at cottage 88. The location is perfect. The cottage was cozy and very clean. Love the fireplace and how easy it was to use especially with the cold weather. Can’t wait to stay here again. The hosts were amazing to work with! "

"This is such a wonderful base camp for exploring the Appalachian side of the state. Restaurant are good in Sylva and Dillsboro. Mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee are the best!!!"

"Never been to Brevard before, had a great time there. This cute little cottage was comfortable, with great amenities. It was walking distance from great local bars and breweries. Also walking distance from downtown. When we come back to Brevard this will be out go to!"

"We enjoyed having all Queen size beds and 2.5 baths is awesome! The house is very homey with nice decorations. The kitchen and bathrooms have all of the amenities and more! All of the linens are comfortable. Really, it was perfect! Next time we will try the fire pit! The owner is very accessible and kind. We have friends in Brevard so we will definitely be back! "
