"The surroundings were gorgeous and the staff, for the most part were very nice. Our room had a gorgeous view of the lake but the room was very small. The carpet had carpet tacks sticking out and we stepped on them when using the bathroom. For a thousand dollars a night, we expected a lot more. "Beautifully situated in the woods only 20 minutes away from the lake Louise shuttle. The rooms are cozy and chalet like. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen has a microwave but no sink so you have to use the bathroom to wash anything up. There are two mugs and a bottle opener, no cutlery. The wifi is non existent so if you need to send something urgently you must go to the office (or outside the back of the office is closed). "

"This hotel gave us a warm feeling as soon as we walked in. The staff at reception were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the en suite facilities were very good too.
