"We loved this house from the moment we walked in!! It worked perfectly for the 5 of us. It was incredibly well apportioned, everything we needed was on site; just bring your clothes and food. An easy walk into town and, especially, the Lake City Bakery!! The neighborhood was quite and wildlife sightings from the deck were abundant. Just a note, it was NO issue for us, that all 3 bedrooms are on the second floor with 1 full bath and a full bath on the first floor."

"This property is a really amazing place. Lots of space, fully stocked kitchen. The DAR app was super helpful in getting around. Just a suggestion: travel with a light-up mirror for the bathroom. The lighting was extremely dim, so my travel mirror was essential to be able to see."

"This was my 2nd time staying here. We loved it! Its off the main path and away from crowds which is why I go to the mountains. There is hiking and lakes right around the house, of you can quickly get to Black Canyon of the Gunnison. I'm planning to come back again."

"I was there for a week after the Music and Wine Festival. The bed is comfortable and huge for one man; would’ve been great if my wife could’ve gone too. In the photos (and I may have missed it), but I didn’t see that it had a full size double French door refrigerator. I was also concerned about the stove for cooking. "Beautiful view right on the loop about 10 miles from town. Easy access to the lake for kayaking and fishing. Right across the street from a good hiking trail. We really enjoyed it. Note there is only 1 king bedroom, the rest are queen and twin. The listing shows 2 king beds in one location"

"It's hard to imagine that this jewel is just barely off the highway. You really feel much further back into the mountains. The views are spectacular! The hidden porch, which we didn't know anything about before arriving, was awesome. Another spot to enjoy the views from. Late September was an ideal time to enjoy the color changes all around. If in Ouray, or even close, I would definitely opt to stay at this cabin! I shouldn't be telling anyone about it! Must hoard for myself. Kidding. ...
